The W10N Pro puts full Windows 11 on Intel's N100 in a 283.9 × 189 × 24.1mm, 1,185g body — roughly 400g lighter than our 13.3-inch W30U series, and the lightest way to get IP68 in this lineup. It's the model that travels all day: between equipment bays, into truck cabs, out to inspection points. A typical shift means opening diagnostic applications at the machine, completing inspection forms on the 700-nit glove-compatible touchscreen, pulling data from PLCs and scales over the RS232 port, scanning barcodes with the optional engine, and uploading reports over Wi-Fi 6 or the optional 4G/5G module — without going back to a desk.

1. What is the main difference between W10N Pro and the previous W10N?

The W10N Pro uses the Intel Processor N100 platform and adds a 700cd/m² display, IP68 specification, optional RTK positioning and expanded data-collection options.If you're upgrading an existing W10N fleet, send us the serial or configuration of your current units — we'll confirm which accessories and docks carry over before you order.

2. Is the Intel N100 suitable for Windows 11?

The N100 runs Windows 11 comfortably for single-purpose work: inspection apps, data entry, diagnostics, communications. Its four efficiency cores are not built for 3D graphics or large engineering models — if that's your workload, the W30U Pro with Core Ultra is the right tool, and we'll say so on the inquiry.

3. Is the 700cd/m² screen sunlight-readable?

700 cd/m² is roughly double a standard laptop panel and stays readable in bright indoor light and overcast outdoor conditions. For work in direct noon sunlight, order the 1000-nit option from the start — retrofitting a panel into an IP68-sealed unit isn't practical. Unsure? Ask for a screen sample and test it on-site before the volume order.

4. Is 5G included in the standard product?

Not in the base configuration. The standard unit ships Wi-Fi-only; 4G LTE and 5G are order-time options. Tell us your destination country and carrier — band support differs by region, and we configure the module to match.

5. What is the difference between the N1 and N670 scanners?

Pick by sensor and aiming, not by name. The N1 uses a 0.3MP sensor and covers everyday 1D/2D codes; the N670 steps up to a 1MP sensor with cross-laser aiming and OCR-A/OCR-B — worth it for damaged labels, small print, or arm's-length-plus distances. Attach photos of your typical labels to the inquiry and we'll test-scan them on both engines before you commit.

6. Can barcode, UHF, NFC and fingerprint modules all be installed together?

The tablet supports these optional modules, but available installation space, interfaces and antenna positions may limit certain combinations.

8. Is the W10N Pro certified for use in hazardous or explosive environments?

An explosion-proof variant is available on project orders, certified Ex ib ⅡC T4 Gb (gas atmospheres, Zone 1) and Ex ib I Mb (mining). It differs from the standard unit in enclosure and cannot be retrofitted — specify it at inquiry stage and request the certificate copy with your quote. The standard unit carries IP68 and is tested to MIL-STD-810H for the 1.22m drop.

9. How long does the battery last, and can it be upgraded?

The built-in 7.6V/5550mAh battery is rated for ≥7 hours of endurance, with an optional 10000mAh large-capacity battery available for extended field use.
