1. What is the A18ST for?
All-day carry. At 859g and 20mm thin it's the lightest 10.1-inch model in our range, still IP68, running Android 13 on the MT8781. It suits field inspection, healthcare rounds and retail-floor work where the tablet spends the shift in someone's hand rather than in a dock.
2. What platform does it use?
MediaTek MT8781 — two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 at 2.0GHz — with Android 13. That's the same platform class as our full-I/O models, so Android apps certified on those generally run here unchanged.
3. Which ports does it have — and which doesn't it?
On board: USB Type-C with OTG, USB Type-A, 3.5mm audio, TF slot up to 256GB, Micro SIM (dual-SIM optional), DC input and a 12-pin POGO connector. Not on board: RS232, RJ45 Ethernet and CAN Bus. If you need those, the A10ST MT8781 is the same platform with full I/O.
4. What is the display resolution?
1920×1200 resoluiton.
5. What data-capture modules can be added?
Optional 1D/2D barcode scanning, NFC, UHF RFID and fingerprint. Two honest constraints: not every combination fits at once (enclosure space sets the limit), and UHF read range is quoted as 2/5/15m module builds — real range depends on tag, antenna and environment, so tell us your tag type when asking for a quote.
6. Is every configuration covered by the same IP68 report?
Not necessarily. Barcode, UHF, fingerprint, dual-SIM or customized configurations can change the enclosure. If the rating matters for your project, ask for the test report covering your exact build.
